Job description

Furniture Mover

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for safely removing unwanted items, hauling junk, and assisting with moving furniture for residential clients. The ideal candidate is physically fit, customer-service oriented, and enjoys hands-on work. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items
  • Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly
  • Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with clients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools
  • Follow safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in junk removal, moving, or a similar labor-intensive job is a plus
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check
