About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer / Researcher to support the design and enhancement of PeopleSoft HCM Fluid UI experiences.

The ideal candidate will combine strong UX design and user research skills with the ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to create intuitive, accessible, and user-focused HCM experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, interviews, usability studies, and user testing to understand business and end-user needs.
  • Design PeopleSoft HCM Fluid UI experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity design concepts.
  • Plan and conduct usability testing and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Partner closely with PeopleSoft developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Validate designs with users and stakeholders and iterate based on feedback.
  • Apply Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards throughout the design process.
  • Identify usability issues and recommend improvements to existing PeopleSoft HCM experiences.
  • Maintain UX documentation, design standards, and research findings.
  • Support the continuous improvement and modernization of PeopleSoft HCM user experiences.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of UX Design and/or User Research experience.
  • Experience designing enterprise or complex business applications.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and UX designs.
  • Strong experience conducting usability testing and user research.
  • Experience working collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Experience designing PeopleSoft Fluid UI.
