Position Description:
CGI is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will design and deliver modern software solutions that solve meaningful business and technical challenges for enterprise clients.
You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to design and build scalable applications and technology platforms using modern front end, back end, and DevOps technologies. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and working in a fast paced consulting environment.
This position is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee and supports a hybrid work environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend effective technology solutions
. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and potentially production support
. Design and develop modern front end applications using frameworks such as React, Angular
. Design and build software solutions using technologies such as Python, Node.js, .NET/C#, and Java
. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Microsoft ADO
. Design and integrate applications with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
. Collaborate with development teams to improve technical solutions, delivery processes, and overall efficiency
. Contribute to project planning, technical estimation, and delivery activities
. Build trusted relationships with client and internal stakeholders

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 3+ years of experience developing enterprise software applications using Python, Node.js, .NET/C#, Java, or similar technologies
. 1+ years of experience with front end frameworks such as React or Angular
. Experience with object oriented design and development principles
. Strong understanding of database design and SQL
. Experience with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or Vue.js
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
. Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, teammates, and technical stakeholders
. Interest in developing technical leadership and consulting capabilities
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a related field
