ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Deploys equipment, schedules rig up / rig down, and schedules equipment repair
  • Creates field tickets within the system for the field staff to document activities for invoicing
  • Primarily utilizes a group chat platform to receive service and equipment requests
  • Receive emergency and non-emergency requests and consider significant / pertinent information
  • Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
  • Prioritize service and equipment requests according to urgency and importance
  • Primarily uses field automation software to dispatch crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
  • Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedules
  • Provide field units with information about service and equipment requests, traffic, obstacles and requirements
  • Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of activities and other information
  • Performs other duties as assigned and necessary to support scheduling and billing
  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Valid US Driver License 
  • Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
  • Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods
  • Experience with dispatch software
  • Experience with using a group chat platform to take in and respond to requests
  •  
  • Fast typing with experience in data entry
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Active listener with excellent communication skills
  • Sound judgement and critical thinking
  • 2 years of progressive responsibility in an administrative support role
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel
  • Extreme detail orientation with equally strong organizational skills, including multi-tasking and demonstrated problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate across levels, and in sometimes challenging situations, while maintaining a professional demeanor and customer service orientation
  • Able to successfully complete all required pre-hire tests and verifications to include pre-employment drug testing, reference & criminal background checks and MVR review

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the OSS Oildex / Enverus platform is a PLUS
  • Experience with using Yammer or other company social networking tool a PLUS
  • Previous experience in oil/gas, trucking, manufacturing or other heavy-industrial environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
