Position Description

The System Network Administrator will be responsible for proactively managing the computer and network systems for client businesses. The position responsibilities include system and network administration and management for the client's overall IT environment. The position is also involved with assisting clients with the administration of third-party providers that are unique to individual clients.


The System and Network Administrator is empowered to monitor and maintain network systems, troubleshoot and make improvements to client's networks as necessary or recommended. including end user support. The position will be interacting and consulting with clients on a daily basis and must be skilled in communicating with end users at all levels of a client organizations. The position will also have an active role in project management. consulting with clients on technology advancements that improve and secure business processes and efficiencies.


The position also offers an opportunity to engineer new processes using best in class due diligence and discovery practices. You will be able to use your technical, client facing and innovation skills to design and optimize technical environments that meet the unique needs of the client.


Position Requirements

We are interested in talking to versatile IT professionals with a strong technical background and the ability to interface with clients at all levelsl and translate IT services to client business value. You should have strong client facing skills and enjoy creating and managing IT solutions that leverage technology to meet client business needs. Qualifications in the following areas are key:


  • Worked in a Managed Service Provider environment
  • Skilled using RMM tools and processes (NinjaOne a plus)
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Auto-Task a plus)
  • Skilled in client interaction and communication with end users
  • Ability to manage projects
  • Manage all aspects of a networking platform including configurations, design and maintain.
  • Perform network infrastructure and system troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Expert experience with Windows PC and Server Operating Systems
  • Expert with Active Directory
  • Understands Backup and Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration including Entra, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Contribute proactive measures to the evolving Cybersecurity landscape
  • AI experience and adoption in a client environment
  • Understands the software update and Patch Management processes
  • Document technical procedures and user guides
  • Assist in the support of third-party solutions and client specific applications


Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Administrator fundamental and role-based certifications
  • Cisco Entry, Associate, Professional, And Expert Certifications
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+
  • Other applicable certifications


Candidate Attributes

  • At least 5 years working in a Managed Service Provider organization
