THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. 
Job Summary:
 
The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.   
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
 

  1. Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
  2. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
  3. Plans repair work using building’s blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
  4. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
  5. Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
  6. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
  7. Operates all necessary tools to complete a job.
  8. Ensures tools and equipment are properly cleaned, stored, and maintained for optimum performance and safety.
  9. Commitment to Safety and Maintaining a Safe Work Environment
  10. Maintain a clean work environment in compliance with Company standards
  11. Understands and follows Job Safety Analysis for this position.
  12. Wears eye protection and any other designated PPE.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
 Required Skills/Abilities: 

  1. Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment. 
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  3. Ability to follow instructions from team lead and/or Operations Manager
  4. Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  5. Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
  7. Must have a clean driving record.
