Position: Automotive Technician
Location: Fairbanks, Alaska
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour DOE
Schedule flexibility & weekend availability is required for this position. Part-time and full-time scheduling available.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute preventative maintenance and service on fleet vehicles as directed
  • Prudent operation of fleet vehicles in consideration of company policies and local regulation
  • Perform accurate and efficient diagnostics and inspections on vehicles using provided resources
  • Effectively communicate findings and repair recommendations to Supervisor immediately
  • Thoroughly record completed services and repairs as well as parts and supplies used
  • Account for and maintain all provided tools and equipment
  • Implement best practices that align with company Policies, Procedures, Culture and Values
  • Strive to be the champion of all projects assigned and to complete them with excellence
  • Consistently make quality decisions when faced with challenges or problems
  • Collaborating with team members to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Active participation in provided professional training and personal development programs

Desired Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 3 years driving experience, a current driver's license, and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must provide a copy of driving record.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must consistently display a positive attitude.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess good problem solving skills.
  • Must possess good basic math skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Must be teachable by being a good listener and willing to continually learn new skills.
  • Must be able to follow a list of instructions and complete them in order.
  • Must be a team player, willing to solve differences cooperatively with other team members.
