The Marketing Assistant / Proposal Writer will support proposal development, marketing content management, and related marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is resourceful, proactive, highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working with project managers, directors, subject matter experts, and marketing team members to produce accurate, polished, and timely materials.

Responsibilities:

Proposal Development:

  • Review RFPs to identify requirements, deadlines, win themes, and submission criteria.
  • Manage the proposal process from RFP receipt through final delivery, coordinating with project managers, directors, and subject matter experts.
  • Draft, edit, format, and assemble proposals, qualification packages, presentations, and related submittals.
  • Ensure all submissions are client-focused, technically accurate, well-written, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Develop original content as needed, including project descriptions, staff qualifications, firm experience, and value messaging.

Content and Data Management:

  • Create and maintain reusable proposal content, including resumes, project descriptions, client data, photos, graphics, and value messaging.
  • Support fact-checking, version control, and quality control of marketing content and templates (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, InDesign).
