ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scrape, wash, sanitize, and properly store all china, flatware, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with Legends Global standards and Health Department regulations.
  • Ensure that dirty small wares are collected from all scullery collection points and returned to the dish area. Ensure that clean small wares are organized and returned to the appropriate storage area.
  • Maintain the kitchen and small wares storage areas in an organized fashion.
  • Clean and organize all food prep areas throughout the facilities daily.
  • Monitor floors for potential slip hazard, maintaining a clean and dry floor by sweeping and mopping.
  • Provide assistance to Front of House as needed due to event volume.
  • Set up breakdown stations for events.
  • Organize and set up plates, lids, hot boxes and tables for plate up and assisting in plating.
  • Transport loaded hot boxes to pass-out stations.
  • Provide busing and cleanup support for Food & Beverage services as needed.
  • Disposal of Trash, including hosing out garbage cans.
  • Meet uniform and appearance standards at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Previous experience operating a commercial dish machine is preferred.
Basic food preparation experience is preferred.
Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
Ability to work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in fast-paced, dynamic, or stressful situations.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to adjust to last-minute changes and operational needs.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus but not required.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
