3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking Entry Level Laser Operators for 1ST and 2nd shift, at its Rochester Hills location.
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be trained to operate, feed, and troubleshoot laser cutting equipment. You will ensure production efficiency, high-quality output, and a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Laser Operation: Load, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines, adjusting speed and focus as needed for materials like steel and aluminum.
  • Setup & Maintenance: Assist in tooling changes, clean lenses, and perform routine maintenance on machines.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to ensure specifications are met.
  • Production Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines (PPE, lockout/tagout) and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Documentation: Log production counts, downtime, and material usage.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new machinery.
  • Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings (or willingness to learn).
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication tools.
