What are entry level jobs with weekly pay?

Entry level jobs with weekly pay are positions that require minimal prior experience and offer employees the benefit of receiving their wages on a weekly basis. These roles are common in industries like retail, hospitality, warehouse operations, delivery services, and customer support. Weekly pay can help employees manage their finances more easily, especially when starting out in the workforce. Such jobs often provide on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement as you gain experience.

What can I expect regarding training and support as a new hire in an entry-level, weekly pay position?

As a new hire in an entry-level, weekly pay role, you can typically expect a structured onboarding process that includes initial training sessions, mentorship from more experienced team members, and regular check-ins with supervisors. Many organizations offer hands-on training to help you become familiar with daily responsibilities and workplace procedures. Support is often readily available, and supervisors encourage questions to ensure you feel confident in your tasks. Weekly pay positions may also have clear performance tracking, so feedback is frequent, helping you learn and grow quickly within the role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in an entry-level position with weekly pay, and why are they important?

To thrive in an entry-level position with weekly pay, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer literacy, and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with common office software, point-of-sale systems, or industry-specific tools may be required depending on the role. Strong communication, reliability, and a positive attitude help you stand out and build trust with supervisors and colleagues. These skills and qualities are essential for performing tasks accurately, adapting to workplace expectations, and advancing in your career.

Job description

Vector Marketing is interviewing now for part time sales positions. Basic responsibilities include meeting with customers, selling our Cutco products, and placing any orders. Prior work or sales experience not required.

We provide flexible schedules for anyone looking to make extra income around classes, their full time jobs, travel plans, or family obligations.

Position Details

  • Paid Weekly - We offer guaranteed base pay that is not tied to sales, allowing reps to focus on providing excellent customer service rather than feeling pressured to make a sale. We also offer a performance-based commission structure that increases based on career sales performance — not length of service or annual resets. Representatives are paid a base (25.00 base-appt) or commission, whichever is higher that week. Even during slower weeks, reps are still paid for every qualified appointment they complete, regardless of sales results.
  • Solid Training – Reps are set up for success with our training program we have been running for over 40 years. Additional training is provided as they progress.
  • Flexible Schedules – Reps create a schedule that work best for them. Some work as much as possible, some only part time, and others are just looking to earn some extra cash around their busy schedule.
  • Location – Sales reps work locally after training, meetings and training are held in the office.
  • Advancement Opportunities - Sales reps who work here long term have an opportunity move along several different paths including management and career sales professional (even if they start part time with no experience).

Basic Requirements

  • Enjoy working with people
  • All ages 18+ or 17 and a high school graduate
  • Conditions apply
  • Able to interview within the week
  • Willing to learn and apply new skills

Who would do well
We have had reps who have done well with us with all kinds of previous work experience (some none at all). People who have done well with use have worked as an administrative assistant, receptionist, customer service, retail, fast food, and in just about any field you can imagine. We welcome all applicants who have a positive attitude and who enjoy working with people.

If you think you would make a great fit for our team – fill out the contact information to find a location closest to you. A staff member will follow up about setting up a virtual interview with a manager. We encourage applicants of all ages and experience, as we do not discriminate on the basis of an applicant’s age.
