Summary

The Customer Service Technician I is an entry-level technical support role focused on product evaluation, failure analysis support, documentation, and customer service. This position works closely with senior technicians, engineers, and customer support personnel to learn SENS products, processes, and troubleshooting methods.

This role begins with in-house product evaluation and service support activities and develops into broader technical customer support responsibilities over time. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, technically curious, and interested in developing hands-on troubleshooting skills within an industrial electronics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation and processing of returned products and customer service requests.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting, product inspection, and documentation activities.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and customer documentation within company systems.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, field personnel, sales teams, and internal departments.
  • Assist with incoming customer inquiries and help route requests appropriately.
  • Support ticket management activities including documentation quality and follow-up communication.
  • Work closely with senior technicians and engineering teams to learn troubleshooting processes and product operation.
  • Help identify recurring issues and communicate trends to internal teams.
  • Support general customer service and technical support activities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with an interest in technical troubleshooting and electronics.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Location: This position is located in Hatfield, PA with flexibility to work a hybrid schedule once fully trained.


Base Compensation: $25 - $27 is the projected hourly rate and will be determined by the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.

Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
