Job description

BASIS Scottsdale Primary East Campus is currently seeking applicants for an IT Coordinator to join our bright, passionate team!

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

The IT Coordinator’s primary role is to provide help desk operations and to ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance for all technology needs. This includes all help desk requests and resolutions. The person in this position needs to have an entry level knowledge of systems administration, customer service and strong desktop support experience and expertise.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a help desk tier 1 and 2 engineer to support desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones
  • Imaging computers utilizing PXE boot
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Outlook and Lync 2013 configuration
  • Maintains system processes related to file and system backups
  • Supporting a wide variety of network and software applications (firewall, web filter, corporate managed virus protection.)
  • Maintain Active Directory user and computer accounts
  • Maintains computer and mobile device updates/patches
  • Maintain telephony equipment including VOIP and analog services
  • Recommends hardware, software and consumables for purchase.
  • Maintain updated and accurate inventory lists
  • Maintain and create documentation of IT processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • Technical or Associates degree; experience can be considered in place of degree
  • 1-2 years in an IT Help Desk environment
  • Computer Skills: Office 365 Suite, SharePoint, MDT, Active Directory, DHCP, Network Printers, Windows 10.

Preferred:

  • Computer Skills (Desired) ESET, Umbrella, PRTG, Lastpass, 802.1x, LDAP, Asset Tiger, Epson Projectors.
