Job description
Develops and maintains software applications across multiple platforms, including web applications, Windows Services, .NET APIs, and SQL Server databases. This role also supports the integration of practical AI capabilities - such as agentic workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) - into business applications. This is an entry-level position ideal for a developer early in their career who is eager to grow their full stack .NET skills while gaining exposure to modern AI-driven development practices.
Duties and Responsibilities- Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications across web, API, Windows Service, and database projects
- Builds and maintains web applications using .NET Blazor, C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Develops and maintains .NET APIs and Windows Services to support business applications
- Writes and optimizes SQL Server queries, views, and stored procedures
- Modifies existing business applications to correct errors or improve functionality
- Assists with incorporating AI-driven functionality into applications, such as agentic workflows, RAG, and other common business use cases of AI
- Maintains change history documentation and writes technical documentation for developed software
- Collaborates with other Technology department team members to support developed applications
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented programming fundamentals
- Exposure to or coursework in .NET Blazor, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Basic understanding of SQL Server and writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with, or strong interest in, AI concepts such as agentic workflows, RAG, and other practical business applications of AI
- General understanding of software design fundamentals and Agile development practices
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technologies and platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; OR
- Relevant technical training, coursework, internships, or personal/academic projects demonstrating equivalent skills
- Relevant technical training and 1 year relevant professional experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
