Job description

Marketing Assets Designer is a graphic designer who designs visual and print marketing assets to promote CRS' products, services, institutes, website, campaigns and advertisements, and branded merchandise.

The Marketing Asset Designer collaborates on creative ideas and creates designs that meet project/marketing campaign objectives across a broad range of media and platforms.

This position also designs to and provides detailed specifications and optimized HTML and CSS, and prepares file layouts for print vendors or digital publishing.

Other responsibilities include creating or supporting the creation of brand images, logos, and visual identities, and contributing to website design.

The Marketing Asset Designer has the core goal and expectation to combine visual elements with strategic messaging to capture audience attention, build brand trust, and drive measurable actions such as clicks, leads, and sales. Designs are expected to turns creative aesthetics into business results.

Must have a mix of technical skills in visual design tools, digital publishing formats, and marketing technology knowledge.

This is an onsite position. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Designs visual and print marketing assets

  • Blends graphic design principles with marketing strategies.
  • Designs for a wide variety of marketing purposes, including, but not limited to social media graphics, website visuals, email assets, adverts, presentations, brochures, catalogs, flyers, brochures and other digital or printed materials.
  • Creates visual storyboards for campaigns.
  • Designs capture the audience's attention.
  • The focus of designs is to turn creative aesthetics into business results.
  • Collaborates with others on asset creation for print and digital product development, social media assets, including photography and videography.
  • Understands the goals of each campaign and produces designs with achieving the goals and business results in mind.
  • Ensures image matches the message of the service, product, or institute.

Marketing Asset Management (MAM)

  • Designs and ensures assets are organized and follow clear procedures for filing, approval, distribution, tracking, and sharing through the asset's entire life cycle.
  • Ensures all users who have access to marketing assets know how to use the assets and keep them organized and orderly and do not use old or wrong files.
  • Works closely with supervisor to maintain metadata schemes, file naming rules, and folder and file structures and naming convention.
  • Ensures consistent brand guideline and usage and quality controls across all media.
  • Ensures all print and digital marketing materials are branded appropriately.
  • Works closely with supervisor and website administrator to design for the website.

Technical Skills

  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for print and digital assets.
  • Proficient in Figma or Sketch for web pages, landing pages, and collaborative design systems.
  • Basic skills in Adobe After Effects or Premiere for animated social ads and video content.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding front-end code to build email templates or tweak web landing pages or to publish web graphics.
  • Able to build and maintain scalable brand components.
  • Experience designing variant assets for split-testing ad performance.
  • Master of social media formatting; knows exact dimension specs, video loops, and interactive specs for major platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • This is not an entry-level position; at least 2 years of hands-on progressive experience in marketing design with a varied portfolio of real design (not concepts) that demonstrate your style and results.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or marketing with 2 or more years of experience focused on marketing design.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or Canva.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, web layout.
  • Expert knowledge of social media formats.
  • Skilled in PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HubSpot and WordPress. Must be able to quickly learn, master and guide others in the HubSpot platforms used in marketing.
  • Able to talk about design ideas with non-designers and translate ideas into accurate concepts
  • Comfortable communication with multiple levels of professionals.
  • Skilled at handling multiple projects at the same time under tight deadlines; can remain composed and creative under pressure.
  • Experienced in communicating with multiple educational professional audiences, preferred.
  • Accepts and applies feedback and works with copywriters and sales staff to create a high-quality product.
  • High accountability for performance; goal oriented, flexible.
  • Regular, reliable, and prompt attendance.
  • Keeps informed of developments in social media and digital marketing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to use a computer or telephones for up to 8 hours per day, with breaks and lunch.
