Source One is a staffing company and we’re currently looking for the following individuals to work as drivers for our client, a major AI technology company developing autonomous vehicles (AVs) in Atlanta, GA.


Title: Vehicle Operator - Data Collection (Driver)

Pay Rate: $25/hr (W-2) plus benefits (listed below)


Available Schedules:

Day Shift: 7:45am-4:15pm

Night Shift: 3:45pm-12:15am

Days: Tues-Sat, Wed-Sun, Thurs-Mon, Sun-Thurs

Initial training for 5-6 weeks (paid)


Summary: These are full-time, ongoing contract positions open to candidates local to Atlanta. Our client is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge autonomous driving technology. As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles to do mapping, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation.

Responsibilities:

- Drive test vehicles for 6-8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols

- Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs

- Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection

- Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs

- Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance

- Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage


Requirements:

- Candidates must have a valid GA driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history (valid since 2023 at the earliest)

- Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record (no DUIs or recent suspensions, and no more than 2 points)

- Must be able to type at least 45 wpm

- Candidates must pass a pre-employment motor vehicle record check, criminal background check, and a drug test

- Candidates must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

- Candidates must pass a driving test and an onsite typing test

- Must be comfortable driving for extended periods (6-8 hours per day)

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines
