PURPOSE:

The position is an entry level position with great potential for future growth. We are looking for a career minded individual interested in future advancement to become a Design Consultant with Cantoni. 

Weekends and some Holidays are required. 


RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Greet and welcome visitors to the showroom.

Create a warm and hospitable experience for guests.

Monitor sales ups and leads.

Handle incoming phone calls and redirect as needed.

Keep track of swatches and materials on loan.

Manage resource room inventory and product tags.

Assist with managing showroom-related expenses.

Handle daily, weekly, monthly paperwork and reporting.

Coordinate with corporate partners in accounting, operations, buying teams, and visual merchandising.

Work closely with the General Manager on projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience and showroom operations.

Assist the General Manager with various tasks and appointments as required.

Maintain daily operations in General Manager's absence.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Design degree is desirable, but not required
  • CAD experience (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Excellent ability to play a key support role
