Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with main shop lead to ensure each inspection is completed correctly
  • Check and communicate oil level to teammates
  • Create video MPI as per Subaru manufacturer requirements
  • Basic tire work
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Complete visual vehicle inspection
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Utilize down time to contribute to express team assigned shop cleaning duties
  • Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customerโ€™s perspective comes first

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the service drive
  • Ability to seek mentorship from main shop lead when necessary
  • Must be disciplined to arrive at work on time
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
