Job description

Overview:Electronics Game / Sound Technician

Job Type: Part- time with benefits
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Category: Maintenance
Location: Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, TexasWHAT WE PROVIDE:

This is a part-time with benefits position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. It features a competitive hourly rate of $16.00/ hr.with perks such as: Free entry to any Six Flags Park for all employees and a guest with each visit, additional complimentary tickets for friends and family,discount of merchandise for all employees, flexible scheduling, Dayforce Wallet and bi-weekly pay.


Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on park's sound equipment.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
  • Perform necessary repairs and maintenance on sound systems, visual equipment, ride special effects, cameras, monitors, airphones, and games systems
  • Perform necessary checks on buildings, rides, and games
  • With the assistance of a full-time technician help with repairs, install and troubleshoot electronic systems, controls, sound systems, vehicles, and ride equipment
  • Climb rides structures, catwalks and ladders
  • Assists in support of park sound and ride P.A. systems.
  • Operates a broad variety of tools and equipment to include motor vehicles.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of Electro-mechanical and electronics game equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • One year park experience desired, but not necessary.
  • Some electronics and Electro-Mechanical background preferred.
  • Minor mechanical repair experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess valid state Drivers License.
  • Must possess superior communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under stress.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift to include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner.
  • High school diploma or equivalent helpful, but not required.

OTHER NOTES:

  • May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
  • Reports to Department Foreman
