Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a "Convenience Store Associate" for Cash Magic-Vinton. The Louisiana Cash Magic Truck Plaza & Casino incorporates 27 video gaming facilities situated throughout the state. Each site features a convenience store, fueling operations, a restaurant and up to 50 poker machines. The video gaming machines are in a separate gaming room that offers a casino-like atmosphere and provides the road weary traveler an exciting break from the highways.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Give all customers prompt and courteous service
  • Record all sales promptly and accurately, as per company standards
  • Maintain daily a clean, attractive store, inside and out
  • Properly receive all merchandise and complete all invoices, pertaining to said merchandise in a manner to maximize inventory control
  • Brew coffee daily and replenish fountain drink machine
  • Keep coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and displays fully always stocked/fronted
  • Prepare and submit store paperwork and reports in a timely manner
  • Assure proper sales and accounting for money orders and lottery tickets

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:
  • Ability to read, write and understand the English language
  • Sufficient visual acuity to check identification and process money orders
  • Identification that establishes identity
  • Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
