Position Overview
Ames Tools Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist Intern to support our growing marketing team. This is an entry-level, in-office role ideal for someone looking to build a career in marketing while gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas including product photography, training content, and visual asset creation.
The Marketing Specialist Intern will play a key role in helping bring our products and brand to life across both traditional and digital channels.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with product photography, including setup, shooting, and basic editing
  • Support the creation of training materials, including videos, presentations, and instructional content
  • Design and produce graphics and visual assets for:
    • Website and eCommerce platform
    • Email marketing campaigns
    • Social media
    • Print materials (catalogs, flyers, signage, etc.)
  • Help maintain and organize the company's digital asset library
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign execution and content development
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual and marketing materials
  • Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing department

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign preferred)
  • Familiarity with photography and lighting basics (DSLR experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
