APS works on exciting, challenging technologies that will expose candidates to a wide variety of multidisciplinary fields and allow for unique growth opportunities and learning experiences. This position will be responsible for supporting senior engineers and project leaders with a variety of engineering tasks from design and development to assembly and testing of complex electromechanical systems. It will give applicants exposure to all parts of the R&D process, from first-principle analysis through to prototyping and testing of integrated systems. Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, and engineering of advanced prototype systems
- Fabrication, assembly and laboratory testing of systems at our Pawcatuck Facility
- Travel opportunities to support test equipment in the field
- BS in Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Experience with 3D CAD Software (SolidWorks)
