The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in graphic application techniques.
This is an "Installer" position and not a "Designer" role.

  • Install vinyl graphics, decals, reflective striping, lettering, and partial or full wraps on Police, Fire, EMS, Military, and fleet vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, measuring, masking, and positioning graphic materials for installation.
  • Read and interpret layout instructions, design proofs, and work orders.
  • Apply graphics accurately using proper tools and techniques to prevent bubbles, wrinkles, lifting, or misalignment.
  • Trim and finish graphics cleanly around doors, handles, lights, trim, and other vehicle features.
  • Remove and replace old graphics or decals as needed.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to customer and department specifications.
  • Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in clean and organized conditions.
  • Communicate with supervisors, designers, and production staff regarding job status or installation issues.
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with shop production, material handling, and prep work as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience installing vehicle graphics, vinyl decals, wraps, signage, or related graphic applications.
  • Ability to measure accurately and work with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to use hand tools, squeegees, knives, heat guns, and related installation tools safely.
  • Ability to read and follow proofs, layout guides, and written instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift fifty pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in vehicle wrap installation, fleet graphics, or sign production.
  • Experience with emergency vehicle graphics, reflective materials, and public safety markings.
  • Familiarity with vinyl plotting, laminating, weeding, and print shop processes.
  • Experience working on cars, SUVs, trucks, fire apparatus, ambulances, or specialty vehicles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Skilled in vinyl application and graphic installation techniques.
  •  Strong hand-eye coordination and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills when fitting graphics to complex vehicle surfaces.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in a production shop, garage, or installation bay.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and working around vehicles.
  • May involve exposure to adhesives, cleaning chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Physical Requirements:
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Bend, kneel, crouch, and reach frequently.
  •  Lift and carry materials and tools up to fifty pounds.
  • Perform detailed hand work for extended periods.
