Lead High-Quality Exterior Remodeling Projects With a Team That Cares 

Joseph Ketner Construction (JKC) is looking for an experienced Project Manager - Exterior Remodeling to oversee residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion. 

We specialize in exterior renovations including roofing, siding, windows, exterior painting, custom carpentry, and other residential improvements. We are looking for a Project Manager who understands construction, communicates well, solves problems proactively, and takes ownership of delivering an excellent homeowner experience. 


This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, personable, and enjoys managing projects while building strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members. 


What You'll Do 

As our Project Manager, you will manage multiple exterior remodeling projects and ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. 


Responsibilities include: 

  • Manage projects from handoff through final completion 
  • Coordinate subcontractors, carpenters, vendors, materials, schedules, and inspections
  • Communicate proactively with homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Perform jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and workmanship
  • Review project details and identify potential issues before they become problems 
  • Keep projects moving while maintaining deadlines and priorities 
  • Manage changes, delays, and unexpected challenges with effective solutions 
  • Maintain accurate project notes, schedules, photos, and documentation 
  • Ensure commitments are followed through and projects are completed properly 
  • Build strong working relationships with trade partners and internal teams 
  • Help improve systems, processes, and the overall customer experience

What We're Looking For 

The ideal candidate has experience managing residential construction projects, especially involving: 

  • Roofing 
  • Siding 
  • Windows and doors 
  • Exterior painting 
  • Exterior trim 
  • Decks or exterior carpentry 
  • Custom residential remodeling
