PepsiCo Foods Canada has a current opening at the Frito Lay Facility in Cambridge, ON for a Licensed Electrician 

Compensation: $50.37 per hour (Plus shift premiums) 
Shift: Monday – Friday (11pm – 7am)  


Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of site equipment 
  • Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibility 
  • Execute daily assigned work 
  • Manage through emergency breakdowns 
  • Support in root cause and prevention of future downtime events 
  • Work collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risks 
  • Effective communication for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shifts 
  • Above average trouble shooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a diverse, fast paced environment 

Qualifications
  • Must currently possess a valid Electrical license in the province of Ontario (309A or 442) with certificate of apprenticeship as an asset  
  • Secondary trade license would be an asset with associated pay incentive 
  • Knowledge of PLC and control systems strongly preferred 
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and recording hours 
  • Strong work ethic, with a positive attitude and motivation to succeed in a team environment 
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability 
  • Exceptional communication skills and basic computer literacy  
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs as required
