Job description

We are looking for a motivated Entry Level HVAC Service Technician to join our Residential Service team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the HVAC trade, develop hands-on skills, and grow into a long-term career in the industry. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learning best practices for safety, quality, and customer service while honing your craft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and tune-ups
  • Accurately communicate findings and recommend solutions to customers
  • Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time on site
  • Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency service
  • Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and working order
  • Representing the company with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity

Qualifications

  • Valid EPA Section 608 Certification
  • Electrical O6A Trainee License
  • Gas Mechanical I License
  • Working knowledge of residential HVAC systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug screening
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Physically able to lift 75+ lbs and work in various weather and job site conditions

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Nate Certification
  • Gas Piping, electrical, or low-voltage experience
  • Understanding of jobsite safety regulations and requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Service Titan
