Job Title: Entry Level Production Worker- Loader

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a metal fabrication shop specializing in metal for large buildings. We are looking for dedicated loaders and packers to help bring raw materials to completion in the production of building materials.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines
  • Load sheet metal into machines while ensuring accuracy with a tape measure.
  • Maintain high visual quality standards and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting products and preparing building frames.
  • Handle 50-60 pound sheet metal regularly.
  • Use a banding gun to palletize orders and strap products securely.
  • Bend, lift, and wrap products efficiently.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with tape measure and basic math skills.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with safety as a priority.
  • Experience with metal fabrication, cutting, bending, and sheet metal handling.
  • Machine operation and hand tool usage.

  • Physically able to work on feet all day and handle heavy materials.
