Role Description This full-time, on-site Entry Level Sales Representative role is based in Memphis, TN and offers uncapped commission. The role involves prospecting and calling potential customers, learning their freight needs, and building long-term relationships. The representative will negotiate rates, secure carriers, and coordinate shipments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, updating internal systems, and collaborating with internal support teams to resolve issues quickly. The role also requires learning TQL’s services, participating in ongoing sales training, and consistently working toward individual and team performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, including persistence, resilience, and comfort with high-volume outbound calling and negotiations.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts, follow up on leads, and manage shipment details accurately.
  • Problem-solving skills and sound judgment to address service issues, handle objections, and make effective decisions under time pressure.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn CRM and logistics-related software systems.
  • High level of motivation and goal orientation, with an interest in uncapped commission and performance-based rewards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Memphis, TN and collaborate in a fast-paced team sales environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Previous customer service, sales, or logistics experience is helpful but not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
