What You'll Do
- Develop new commercial business throughout your assigned territory
- Build long-term relationships with businesses and organizations
- Call on architects, designers, contractors, project managers, property managers, and end users
- Generate proposals and present furniture solutions
- Work closely with our design and operations teams
- Manage projects from first meeting through installation
- Maintain an active sales pipeline in our CRM
- Attend networking events and industry functions
- Become the local face of Thrifty Office Furniture in your market
Required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial office furniture sales experience
- Proven ability to develop new business
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Valid driver's license
- Existing relationships within the commercial furniture industry
- Experience working with architects, designers, contractors, and facility managers
- Experience responding to RFPs
- Knowledge of commercial furniture manufacturers
- Familiarity with dealership sales processes
