The Role:
This entry-level position is an exciting opportunity for new graduates to join our rotational training program, which offers up to four rotational assignments in various Information Technology and support roles. These roles provide broad exposure to different areas, including IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, ERP systems (SAP), client support, and applications support. The analysts will gain a comprehensive understanding of the O&P USA business while being mentored and supervised throughout each rotation. They will also collaborate closely with finance, commercial, business, and other cross-functional teams. The rotational financial analyst is responsible for supporting the business in assignments lasting approximately six months each, with rotations expected at any of the three locations in the south Houston area (League City, La Porte, Alvin). Over an estimated two-year period, the IT analyst will acquire valuable skills and organizational knowledge, preparing them for future roles in finance and accounting within the organization.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Specific accountabilities in the rotational program depend on the assigned role.
  • Rotational roles include:

- IT infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- IT applications
- ERP system support
- Client support
  • Each analyst is assigned a supervisor per rotation to guide learning and work.
  • Analysts will work closely with supervisors, acquiring technical skills and documenting tasks.
  • Deliverables include detailed job and desk documentation, plus a presentation at the end of each rotation.
  • Each analyst is paired with a consistent mentor from the IT managers for stability and guidance.
  • he mentor handles salary administration and year-end reviews with input from supervisors.
  • Upon completing the program, analysts transition into their next role within the O&P USA IT organization.

Skills & Knowledge Required
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, including, but not limited to: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS, Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems (BBAIS), Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCoE), Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity by December 2026 or May 2027.
  • Experience in the chemical industry is helpful but not required.
  • Minimum 3.0 G.P.A. out of 4.0 is required.

The candidate should be skilled in the use of excel spreadsheets, data processing, and Microsoft office tools. Specific technical skills will be trained on in the role.
