Job description

Job Purpose:

Process chip and bar components and operate semiconductor process equipment while maintaining a Class 1000 Clean Room environment. This is an entry-level position that provides a stable career path in high-tech manufacturing; no prior experience is required as full training is provided.

This is a 3rd shift position.


Duties:

  • Perform high-precision tasks including chip dicing, bar cleaving, stacking, and facet coating.
  • Learn and operate semi-automated semiconductor process equipment as part of the production workflow.
  • Conduct detailed visual inspections using microscopes and specialized equipment.
  • Work at a dedicated station for extended periods, performing repetitive, fine-motor tasks with high accuracy.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Clean Room environment through rotating change room duties.
  • Monitor production levels and order necessary supplies or consumables to prevent line delays.
  • Document production data and quality metrics using computer-based systems.


Skills/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (or 1 year direct relevant semiconductor experience).

Proven ability to handle delicate materials and very small parts without damage.

Ability to remain productive and attentive while sitting for long periods and performing repetitive work.

General computer skills and the ability to learn complex machine operations.

Willingness to wear full Clean Room attire (full bunny suit, mask, gloves); knowledge of SPC/ISO standards is preferred.

A great teamwork attitude with a commitment to high-quality standards and precision.
