  • Catch and inspect cartons — Catch printed cartons as they exit the machine and inspect for quality.
  • Stack cartons on pallets — Stack cartons uniformly according to required pallet patterns and height specifications.
  • Monitor quality — Identify defects, monitor machine output, and report issues promptly.
  • Wrap and label pallets — Prepare completed pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Maintain work area — Keep the production and finishing area clean, organized, and free of debris.
  • Communicate with operators — Coordinate with machine operators and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Operate roll stand and feeder — Demonstrate proficiency in operating the roll stand and feeder machines.
  • Load and unload materials — Safely load and unload raw materials, inprocess stock, and finished goods onto and from equipment.
  • Operate finishing equipment — Feed, pack, palletize, and stretchwrap products as required.
  • Assist printing and diecutting — Support unloading and staging of materials for printing and diecutting equipment.
  • Use powered pallet trucks — Move materials and finished products efficiently throughout the facility.
  • Perform quality control — Follow inspection standards, make minor equipment adjustments, and ensure product quality.
  • Participate in makereadies — Assist with equipment setup and preparation for production runs.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, Planning and project management skills.
  • Strong mathematical, computer and reading skills
  • Must maintain a positive attitude regarding processes and equipment.
  • 5+ years’ experience within the Baldwinsville Plant and within the Department applying or related experience within the field.
  • Mechanical aptitude a must.
  • Strong organizational skills.
