Job description

We are seeking a full-time Toddler Teacher Assistant to support our Toddler 2 classroom from Monday through Friday. This role works under the lead teacher or independently to assist with daily educational activities, playtime supervision, meal and nap routines, and general classroom maintenance. We offer paid holiday and vacation time, and daycare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom activities and lead teacher’s instruction
  • Supervise children during educational and play activities
  • Assist with snack preparation and meal routines
  • Monitor nap time ensuring child safety and comfort
  • Communicate with parents as needed
  • Help set up and maintain the classroom environment
  • Provide behavior support and guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level experience in early childhood education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Experience in childcare and early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Patience and teamwork ability
