Job description

Applicant will be required to prepare client's books, individual tax returns, and small business tax returns.

Strong knowledge of QB is a must, working knowledge of Thomson Reuters Ultratax is helpful.

Candidate must be driven, highly organized, and a team player. Must also be comfortable sitting in front of clients and be able to communicate back and forth via email and phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Take client's information, bank statements, credit cards, ect and create a set of financials (Monthly or Annually)
  • Knowledgeable in payroll and be able to complete simple after the fact 941, RT-6, 940, & W-2s
  • Prep individual tax returns
  • Prep business tax returns, Mostly 1120-S
  • Work with client to gather missing information

Pay is competitive and based on experience. Two additional bonuses are giving every year based on individual and business performance. Willing to give commission for current clients that are brought to the firm.

Office hours are 9-5 pm, M-F; overtime during tax season is required.
