What will you do? Make an impact!

As a Local Driver, you are responsible for safely moving trailers within the plant and transporting trailers between the plant and local storage facilities. This role supports daily operations and works closely with the Lead Local Driver and Senior Production Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant trailer movement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies to maintain a compliant and safe workplace
  • Spot and move trailers into designated dock areas within the plant
  • Transport trailers between the plant site and local 10day storage yards
  • Move equipment as needed for cleaning and maintenance activities
  • Perform detailed pretrip and posttrip inspections on trucks and trailers, documenting any damage or issues
  • Complete general cleaning and basic maintenance of trucks, trailers, and dock areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Do you have what it takes?
  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Manual transmission experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Processing, mechanical, or industrial experience
  • Ability to obtain a physician's certification to wear a respirator
  • Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired
  • Ability to work onsite as required
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
