Job description

Healthcare Specialist – U.S. Army (Entry-Level, No Experience Needed)

Full-time | Part-time | Paid Training | U.S. Citizenship or Green Card Required
The U.S. Army is seeking Healthcare Specialists responsible for providing emergency medical treatment on the battlefield, primary care, health protection, and medical evacuation. This entry-level role is vital for soldier care and readiness. No prior experience needed.
What You'll Do:
  • Administer emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties.
  • Assist with outpatient and inpatient care and treatment.
  • Instruct Soldiers on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training courses.
  • Manage medical readiness, supplies, and equipment.
Training:
  • 10 weeks Basic Combat Training.
  • 16 weeks Advanced Individual Training with hands-on patient care practice.
Skills You’ll Learn:
  • Patient-care techniques.
  • Emergency medical techniques.
  • Advanced medical care.
  • Plaster-casting techniques.
Helpful Skills:
  • Enjoy helping and caring for others.
  • Effective communication and ability to work under stressful conditions.
  • Interest in chemistry, biology, psychology, general science, and algebra.
