Job description

The Entry-Level Procurement Specialist will assist the Buying Team with order execution, ensuring data integrity, maintaining material readiness, and providing team dashboard reporting. The role also involves resolving receipt and shipment issues and participating in various projects as required. You will be instrumental in new product launches and coordination, maintaining on-time supply, managing vendor relations, and assisting with special projects.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in executing buying orders and maintaining data integrity.
  • Ensure material readiness for new product launches.
  • Coordinate with vendors to maintain on-time supply and resolve any shipment issues.
  • Participate in team dashboard reporting and other project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product development, and supply chain partners to enable product launches and shape sourcing strategies.

Essential Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Excel and ERP Systems (Oracle EBS preferred).
  • Experience in supply chain management, purchasing, and procurement.
  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume, global procurement and operations manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
