Job description

The Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing the delivery of concrete within local regions. Reporting to the Dispatch Team Lead, this independent position ensures efficient scheduling, route planning, and communication to support timely deliveries during day shifts. Utilizing a proprietary dispatch system, the dispatcher balances customer interaction and driver support to maintain seamless operations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage concrete order scheduling
  • Plan delivery routes for local regions
  • Manage daily dispatch schedules to optimize efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers
  • Track loads to ensure accurate and timely deliveries
  • Support drivers by resolving delivery and scheduling issues
  • Maintain documentation related to dispatch and deliveries
  • Ensure safety compliance during all dispatch operations

Required Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications
