We are looking for a Dental hygiene Assistant/Sterile Technician to join our team at our Premier Periodontics Seattle location! This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in dental and or healthcare. No prior experience is required, but recommended, as we are willing to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate. You will be responsible for ensuring that all dental equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized to meet our high standards of hygiene and safety. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols.

  • Assist hygiene team with charting and room turn over.

  • Organize and store sterilized instruments for easy access by healthcare professionals.

  • Assist in monitoring sterilization cycles and keeping accurate records of procedures.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the sterile processing area.

  • Support inventory management of sterile supplies, ensuring equipment is available when needed.

  • Follow infection control practices to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

  • Participate in training programs to learn sterilization techniques and hygiene practices.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

  • No prior experience necessary, but is preferred—we will train the right candidate!
