Job Type: Full Time
Job Shift: Nights
Holiday Rotation:
Department: Central Sterile
Responsible for cleaning /decontaminating instruments and equipment, sterilization, and handling of sterile supplies with a focus on Infection Control in order to provide quality patient care.
Qualifications
Successful completion of Sterile Processing Program.
Must be available to take call to ensure patient care needs are met.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must maintain current Certification Board for Sterile Processing Certification (CBSPD) and/or Certified Registered Central Service Technician certificate from IAHCSMM
One year of experience as Certified SPT preferred, 400 hours of SPD externship experience required
