With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. Join our team as a Certified Sterile Processing Tech. In the Certified Sterile Processing Tech role you will:

  • Promote improved quality and improved patient safety in the OR by ensuring the efficient flow of the Sterile Processing department.
  • Perform routine tasks relating to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment and sterile supplies. Responsible for general operating and monitoring of sterilization equipment.
  • Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission and OSHA standards. Maintains Certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non-certified.
  • Facilitate awareness and understanding around what is at stake with patients in the OR.
  • Facilitate the department's preparation of staff to pass survey/regulatory assessments.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM


In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  

  • Computer skills required
  • CRCST or CSPDT certification required upon hire or transfer
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D. required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
