Hiring: Business Analyst – Child Welfare / CCWIS & CCMS

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support CCWIS and CCMS projects within a State Government / DHHS environment.

Location: Maine
Role: Business Analyst

 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering and facilitated workshops
• Develop current-state and future-state business process models/workflows using BPMN
• Create Business, Functional, User, and Non-Functional Requirements
• Develop Report Specifications and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
• Partner with Project Managers, IT teams, business stakeholders, and users throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and execute UAT plans and test cases
• Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel
• Identify roadblocks, risks, and opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements

 Must-Have Skills

• Extensive experience with State of Maine Child Welfare Systems and state government projects
• Strong experience with Business Process Modeling & Analysis
• Highly proficient in Excel and data analysis
• Experience writing Test Plans and executing Test Cases
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with technical and business teams

 Preferred

• Experience with government Social Services / Child Welfare programs
• CCWIS / CCMS experience
• State and Federal project experience
