Job description

Job Title: Junior Finance Support Specialist Location: Vienna, VA Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm EST

Responsibilities

  • Support business partners by providing expertise on mortgage and equity processes from start to finish
  • Utilize knowledge of real estate lending systems and assist with troubleshooting complex system tickets related to mortgages and equity
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and leadership to resolve system issues and outages, including providing root cause analysis and stakeholder communications
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and enhancement of software and systems, ensuring regulatory and procedural compliance
  • Research and analyze problems, recommend operational improvements, and assist with process troubleshooting and documentation
  • Contribute to weekend and off-hours support, including system validations and coverage on a rotational basis
  • Handle escalated inquiries related to member accounts, general ledger, and internal systems, providing prompt and accurate responses
  • Perform software testing, implement new processes, and support cross-organizational projects to improve operational efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned to support business operations and system stability
Requirements
