Desktop Support TechnicianOverview

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite technical support to end users in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills, and experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and operating systems. The ideal candidate is a IT support specialist who can effectively resolve technical issues while maintaining a positive user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite desktop support for end users.
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain computer hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, operating system, and application-related issues.
  • Perform hardware repairs and component replacements as needed.
  • Document, track, and manage incidents through a ticket management system.
  • Support user account administration and basic system access requests.
  • Assist with workstation imaging, deployments, and upgrades.
  • Provide technical assistance via in-person, phone, and remote support channels.
  • Perform basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with desktop hardware and software installation, configuration, and support.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based operating systems and desktop environments.
  • Experience using an IT ticketing or service management platform.

Pay and Benefits

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
