If you are looking for a dynamic, fast-growth company with big ideas, you have come to the right place! Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is looking for Geotechnical Field Technicians in our Nashville, TN office!

Responsibilities include construction monitoring and testing of soil, concrete, and other materials. Ample opportunities for training, certifications and career advancement. You must own a vehicle, have a good driving record, like working with people, and enjoy working outdoors. Experience is preferred, but we will accept entry level candidates and provide training! GTA will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment, which includes High Visibility Vest, Hard Hat, Gloves, and Safety Glasses.

Requirements

Successful candidates MUST have:

      • Reliable Vehicle; TN driverโ€™s license with clean record
      • Enjoy working outdoors
      • Ability to work alone as well as in a group
      • The ability to read plans & specifications
      • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

The following certifications are preferred, not required:

      • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology or similar field (preferred not required)
      • NICET
      • ACI Level I for concrete sampling/testing
      • ICC Certifications in Soils, Structural Concrete, Post-tensioning, Masonry, Fireproofing
