JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with plans production and design tasks under the direction of an engineer for transportation projects
  • 3D modeling from preliminary to final design.
  • Assist in the development of specifications, reports, and cost estimates. Data sensitivity - Internal
  • Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines and sub-consultants, departments, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Deliver project tasks on time and on budget.
  • Learn and utilize typical design software packages.
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering BS by spring of 2027.
  • Design experience a plus.
  • EIT or Engineering Intern certification or plans to obtain prior to graduation
  • Experience in OpenRoads Designer a plus. Experience in Traffic Design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Synchro and Highway Capacity Software is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future.
