Forward Deployed Engineer - Operations (Contract)
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) or fully remote
We are seeking a Software Engineer to support the development of a large-scale, enterprise technology platform within a global organization. This role is focused on building a modern, multi-asset system from the ground up, offering the opportunity to contribute to a greenfield initiative with significant visibility and impact.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions, working in a fast-paced environment that blends local execution with global coordination.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend applications using Python and AI tooling (Claude, Claude Code, Codex)
  • Build and enhance front-end components using React or React Native
  • Partner with engineering, QA and DevOps teams across distributed environments
  • Contribute to cloud-based infrastructure and deployment activities
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and development best practices
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions

Qualifications
Required
  • Strong experience working as a Python software engineer
  • Prior experience with Agentic coding solutions and building production ready Agents
