Job description
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for laser, plasma, and turret punch machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create machine-ready programs.
- Utilize nesting software to maximize material usage and reduce scrap.
- Select appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and machine settings for various materials and thicknesses.
- Optimize programs to improve machine efficiency, cycle time, and part quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturability issues.
- 2nd Shift : 3:30pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
- $20+/hourly (experience based)
- Experience programming CNC laser, plasma, or turret punch machines.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and nesting software.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of tooling, cutting parameters, and material characteristics.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.
