* JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
* Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
* Help define and interact with REST based API's.
* Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support.
* Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
* Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications * Security Clearance - A U.S. Government security clearance is not required on the first day, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required.
* At least 2 years of experience with front end software development/engineering and a Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
* Knowledge or experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency.
* Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
* Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
* Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly.
* Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.
* Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+) within 60 days of hire. * Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
Preferred Requirements * Previous experience with BDP is a plus.
