Job Title: Software Engineer: Full-Stack or Software Engineer: Full-Stack (Data)
Salary: $100,000-$220,000 + equity options.
Location: Remote with occasional in-person work in our co-working space in downtown Toronto.

Brief Description of the Role:

This role will be joining our growing and talented engineering Team. As a fast-growing company, you will be building at the intersection of the AI and finance.
There are two main responsibilities of the engineering Team:

  1. Building the Fiscal.ai Terminal product
  2. Building the Fiscal.ai Financial Data infrastructure (and API product)
    Both require deep understanding of the full stack, LLMs and finance. If you think this is the perfect fit for you, we'd love to specifically hear why!

Requirements

  • You are a 10x engineer. If you're not sure, no need apply. You need to write good code, fast.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, NextJS.
  • Experience working with LLMs.
  • Strong background working with and/or building APIs.
  • Comfortable developing across the entire stack and on multiple products. Strong ability to develop beautiful front end Terminal interface for users as well as support backend data engineering.
  • Experience with data parsing.
  • Experience with large databases.
  • Experience with python.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in investing and finance. Our platform is built by investors, for investors, so a solid understanding of investment concepts is essential, especially when working with advanced data and financial concepts.
  • Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering. For some candidates, we may make exceptions ie) self-taught.
  • Experience or interest in AI technologies, specifically Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Keen eye for design, UI, UX.
  • Based in Canada.
